This is FREE’s first leadership
level course. Any diver who has attained the level of
Advanced Freediver course can enroll in the Assistant
Instructor seminar. Upon successful completion, the
graduates can assist Instructors and Master Instructors
in any of their classes and, more importantly, they
can teach the Freediver course themselves. This course
is an essential first step for those interested in participating
actively in freediving education and gives them the
opportunity to gather teaching experiences for the higher
instructor levels.
All Students must be at least sixteen (16) years old.
All students under the age of eighteen (18) need parental
permission.
Students must have completed the Advanced Freediver
course and have logged a minimum of twenty-five (25)
dive sessions after its completion. After completion,
students must carry Liability Insurance where applicable
to receive the Assistant Instructor certification
