| Our affiliates are persons, organizations or centers
that have adopted the FREE system and are capable of offering
training and other diving services that comply with our
strict rules and standards. To provide easier access to
these professionals, we have divided them into the following
categories:
FREE Centers: These are dive
shops that provide FREE training, and for such, they
are required to have at least one FREE instructor on
their roster. In addition, they may also provide services
such as freediving equipment sales, snorkeling and diving
trips, safety diving for freedivers and organization
of freediving events.
FREE Instructors: These
are individuals that teach FREE courses independently
or for a FREE center. In order to be allowed to teach
our courses, the Instructors are required to teach at
least one course per year.
FREE Teams: These are groups
of top-class divers or freediving clubs that use the
FREE system for their training and to organize and verify
their competitive activities. They are required to have
at least one FREE Instructor and one FREE Safety Diver
among their ranks.
FREE Branches: These
are the national FREE representatives in their respective
countries. A FREE Branch has the right and duty to conduct
all training, services and competitive activities in
their territory, as well as all communications with
current and prospective FREE members.
